Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, and barley. According to WebMD, “People allergic to proteins found in wheat, including glutens, must keep a gluten-free diet to avoid a reaction, which might include stomach upset, eczema, allergic rhinitis, asthma, and even anaphylaxis. People with celiac disease must also follow a gluten-free diet.”
At Anise, we take the gluten-free diet very seriously. Most of our food are already gluten-free, but we take care to even have special gluten-free soy sauce in house. Please let your servers know if you have any dietary requirements.
